Batteries are currently relatively high cost per kWh of storage capacity this will affect the price of time-shifted power for the consumer. The cost of batteries continues to fall so that by the time the proposed system is financed, the business case will be much improved.

Government grants and interest-free loans will also improve the business case for the initial stages of the project.
